Featured Image for May 2025

"The Dance"

These are two stallions who have grown up together at "Making Pegasus."  Leonidas is on the left, and Neo is on the right.  They were play sparring when I captured this image.  I replaced some fences with a less distracting background and here we have the featured image for May!

Born March 3, 2021, Neo is 3/4 Andalusian and 1/4 Percheron.  Neo's dam and sire are "Tenacious as the Wolf" (1/2 Andalusian 1/2 Percheron) and by "Ronaldo UP" (California State Champion Andalusian).   Yes, there was a Matrix theme in names that year, but Leonidas (1/2 Warmblood 1/4 Friesian 1/4 Percheron) wasn't one of them.  Leonidas was born May 16th, 2021; later in the foaling season, so he missed the opportunity for the Matrix name club.  His dam was "Ebony" (1/2 Friesian 1/2 Percheron), and his sire was one of the most perfect Dressage stallions in the world "Sandro Hit" ranked #2 in the All-Time Worldwide Sire rankings.  "Sandro Hit," a Hanoverian stallion, is known for his exceptional offspring, including Bundeschampion Poetin who sold for 2.5 million Euro.
